Update june 23 2017

Well it has been awhile yet again since I have been on here, Isaac is going to be 4 or he will tell you (100) in August! We are happy and sad that he is growing up...We r going to do a 100 birthday party. Not sure all the details yet but starting to figure it out. We also have decided officially to homeschool, some people don't like it and some love the idea of that. We are happy to begin this stage of life, our friends are now deciding to homeschool all 4 and soon 5 of their kiddos, Isaac will be so happy about that. We just celebrated rylees 1st birthday! She is getting so big and she loves her cousin. We are still living with my parents, Justin has embarked on some extra schooling for IT and is also in the meantime trying to get into nipsco. We are trying to be patient to build but we have our ups and downs of patientness lol. One day when we get to build we have sort of decided to possibly foster children, those children would always be younger than Isaac but we are still looking into these things, God's timing will be perfect for all these things. We also just take one day at a time with everything and are always trying for another baby ourselves we know anything with God is possible. Well that is all for now. Have a great weekend.

Christmas time

This is the time of the year that we all get a little more giving, a little more kind, our hearts seems to swell extra, but why? does that have to go away, why? cant we carry that out throughout the year? Well I have been thinking and I am not sure why that happens, maybe distractions, or things that happen that bring us down, anyways I have been trying to Bring God into our lives more than we already do, I know we go to church on Wednesday night and Sunday morning, and now with not being with the church i grew up in it has made things and getting involved even harder, I have been surrounding myself with those who believe like I do more now, just to get that encouragement and uplifting throughout the week! My heart was broke a lil yesterday. I know it is his age and he doesn't even know what he said or what it did to me, but I was baking and listening to Christmas music and he was helping me and said Jesus, (because the song said Jesus), and he goes no no no Jesus cant be in our home, he is bad, oh my did my heart sink, as a momma i thought what have i done wrong and have i not been showing him the right things, so as a momma i said no Jesus is good, we want him in our homes and our hearts, and he replies with momma you talk to much, you say blah blah blah.....wow was my heart now cracking, and I was thinking you lil brat, you don't even know how much I do for you. then I had to pray and calm down. BUT.....it did make me think a lot a lot about showing him so much more that God is and can be in our daily lives. So maybe it was a lesson for me to start NOW!!! don't wait any longer, It also has made me think maybe Jesus thinks that about us adults, that maybe we are brats and cant listen any more than a toddler does??!! so I am going to be creative and have more crafts and small lessons on Jesus and his stories, It has made me realize that I have to show him this. Wow what a big job I have but I can do it and with God's help!

So do any of you feel that way?
How do you deal with that/ or those times?
Pray and Pray some more is what I have learned and to just take a deep breath and keep going.

hope you all are having a great day!

updated 12/2/16

Since i been on last, we have now sold our house over 2years ago. We live with my parents, which has been wonderful. We all get along so well and help each other out with all the duties of a home. We have been praying so hard that my dad will get on disability so that my mom wont have to work so many hours! We have taken a break from fundraising, we just kind of save money on the side ourselves at the moment, we are also really trying to get our extra bills paid completely paid off and save up for building our home one day on our land. God has got all that under control. lets just say i have to constantly have to remind myself of that ha. Isaac is now three! yes three, i cant even believe it, i now have a niece rylee, that i babysit a few days a week, she is a lil stinker but a cutie.
at first he wasn't so sure of her but he has recently introduced her to his bff adalynn, as his baby cousin rylee. it was so adorable. my heart was melting! she just stares at him in awe and i think she wants to run around like he is. well i think that is as updated as i can get you all, got to go give the lil guy a bath. night everyone.

www.funds2orgs.com

And they a more for our area and can pickup smaller loads, I am super excited because we now only need to have at least 2500lbs. And will not get any freight charges taken off so we will get the full $.40 a lb. So we will be raising around 1,100$  I am so excited and thankful for this!

Cash4shooz

So I emailed the cash4shooz lady and was updating her on us running out of room and if they would come and pick up what we have and all and she suggested a few things to try and then she also just contacted me saying she is referring me to another company who works my area and can take a smaller load of shoes!!! Yay! I am so excited! So once I hear from them I will update you all what is going to happen:)

In the meantime I have orders some silicone molds of fun shapes and themes and am going to be collecting used crayons, to make party favor shaped crayons to sell and all the profits will go toward the adoption so if you have crayons they will be greatly appreciated!! And next I will be sending out a post with an order form, if you have a party and you know the theme give me a heads up way before the party so I can get the molds and start making them:) You can email me at saltarski@comcast.net or private message me on facebook with your party info! Prices will be available shortly. Thank you.

So many shoes running out of room!

Well hello there, an update on shoes, we have 58 bags of shoes that weigh between 40 to 50 lbs a bag. So we have between 2300 to 2900 lbs of shoes

Need : 10,000 lbs of shoes
Have :   2,300 lbs of shoes
_______________________________
Total : 7700lbs to go on the lesser end.

We are running out of room to store the shoes, not sure if I bit off more than I can chew on this one. I am keeping this fundraiser in my prayers to know if I should continue or put in the towel and just see if they want what I have whether I make anything off of it or not!? Because as of right now we have not raised any funds for our adoption yet, so I have been contemplating starting another one while the shoes continue to come in and just see what happens with the shoes. Thanks for all the prayers and support during this journey. God bless and have a wonderful day.

Answering the call..

Been busy the past couple weeks, house sold, moved in with parents to save up to build and in the midst of all of that we get an unexpected call.....

From....Jen Fase and she tells us that her cousins niece is pregnant and is just going to leave her baby at the hospital and she is due in may (3 months away) and if we want to adopt the baby we should figure out what we need to do, so in the meantime I talk to Justin about it as we are in the middle of moving out of our house and Justin needs a little time to think about so we prayed and thought it about it for a couple days and we came to the conclusion why not! Life was crazy but why not! So we text Jen back and told her we were wanting g to adopt the baby and after texting for a few mins she got an email saying the niece had changed her mind and was just going to let a family member adopt the baby. So we were a little sad hearted but we did have a lot going on and we were just glad that the baby was going to have a home and not just be left at the hospital. After all was said and done I looked back and thought God were you testing us to see if we would answer the call even with all the craziness we had going on!? I am glad I get to look back and say yes! Yes we did answer the call.

So now I am praying the shies start rolling in we have a lot of media out there now about the need for gently used shoes, it is going to take some time to get to the goal we need but we have the time and I know God is in control and can make it happen!

Update on shoes

Hey there shoes are walking their way in slowly......  we may have to extend the time period on this Shoe drive since we have to have at least a min. of 10,000 lbs. for them to come out and pick them up.

which is roughly 350 lawn bags filled with 25+ pairs of shoes.

so keep spreading the word and collect those shoes
thank you so much :)

Adoption #2 fundraiser shoes

Hello everyone! we have decided to start fundraising for our next adoption and once we get most of the proceeds raised we will submit our profile again! Praying for a Brother or Sister for lil Isaac!!!!

We are going to be doing a shoe drive fundraiser through Cash4shooz!

A little bit about Cash4shooz
The shoes we collect for them are gently used shoes (no winter or rainboots) but any other type of shoe is great!
Cash4shooz takes the shoes and they deliver them to third world countries, it provides jobs and gives those who have less shoes to purchase.
It is a win win win!
jobs for others, shoes for less fortunate and we get paid by the lb. for shoes collected so we are going to need a whole ton of shoes!!!! so pass this on to your friends and family members and co workers get a box and let me know when you need them picked up or can get them to me we will be running this fundraiser starting NOW to Novemeber 1st!!!
I am sure everyone has leftovers from garage sales or even just a closet that has unworn shoes so dig through them and fill up a bag or box!!

Thank you so much and God bless
Staci!

One year with Isaac!

One year has now went by and our baby boy Isaac is just getting so big!!! walking now and chattering away! we thank you all so much for all the support!

Should we adopt again? can we raise that much money again? will we get picked again? these are just a few of the things going through my head since.....

We got in the mail a letter asking if we would like to update our profile so that we can adopt again, we have been praying a lot about it! we are in the middle of trying to sell our house and just life in general passing by we would love to adopt again to grow our family as long as God wanted us to do that.
It is just hard to come up with so much money right away we would have to pay:
1. $200 to update our profile
2. 50$ about to get fingerprinted again
3. $ to get criminal check ran again
4. $6,000.00 for when we get to bring a baby home (if we get chosen) we would need this amt at hospital.
5. $6,000.00 for post placement (we would need this amount at our adoption specialist first visit after bringing baby home)
6. $2,000.00 for lawyer fees to complete the adoption

I KNOW IF GOD HAS A little one out there that is meant for our family he will make it all happen
we all truly saw that with our son Isaac he just knew and things got done in such a timely matter it truly was amazing!

well...as for right now we are just continuing to pray about this and we are asking you all to pray with and for us to know what we should do! thanks love staci.

Things.......

Things are moving right along, Things with the birth-mom are going good, we found out a few details about how she would like for the hospital and delivery are to go, which could all change in a blink of an eye.....
she will be in contact with Darla when she goes to the hospital and when she delivers, and she will be giving the green light to darla when we are allowed to know anything or go up to the hospital or anything. she has a doctors app on friday the 12th. and darla will be updating us about that appointment, the doctor at least wanted our birth-mom to get to july 12th then it is all up to birth-mom and what she wants done. we found out she went 5 days early with her little girl and we also found out the lil girl was about 8lbs, our birth-mom is very tiny and petite, it seriously looks like she just has a basketball in her belly, so cute, but with her being small and darla also told me that she is bigger now than she was with her last at this point so maybe doctor will want him out sooner than later! I just hope and pray that he comes when he is supposed to come and that she is ready. I just have been thinking about our birth-mom and cry, and wish my body could do what her body does so well. I know that this is her choice but I am sure she is wishing she were in a better place with her relationship with her boyfriend or financially or whatever and wouldn't have to be going through this on the other end! I have been feeling just lousy, and i hate to say this and it may not make sense to all of you but i feel like a monster or a horrible person taking her baby from her, and yet again i know this is her choice and............ time has literally flown by since writing this post! things got crazy good, Isaac was born and we went to see him and after a nerve-wrecking three days all papers were signed and we got to bring him home!

Saturday, July 6, 2013

finally all updated!

Well phew! just got you all updated now withing the last i think four posts! Just want to drop a thank you again for just continuing to pray for us and the birth-mom and the baby! Have a blessed Saturday!

now it is time to have a nice and relaxing evening!

The Nursery.....

The nursery is coming together!!!
Here are some sneak peak pictures!!!

The colors are a sage green and tan! the bedding we want is..
It is just us, lil deer! love it!

 The bassinet and
the crib!                                                                          Thank you holly for the crib!

The closet, with some of the clothes many people have given me all washed and ready!(thank you to all who have given me clothes!)
some diapers, my old teddy when i was a baby, (the right one) lil shoes...
The changing area newborn diapers are so adorable and so so tiny!

We were Chosen.

Well most of you now know that we were chosen! And our journey has been just wonderful, we have fears of the unknown but that is OK, we have a Mighty God on our side and will make it through no matter what happens! We found out the birth-mom is having a boy, we are super excited! we have been getting things together and the nursery all set up, we have gotten so many things handed down to us, clothes, crib, baby bath and formula, we have about 4 weeks till she is due, please be praying for her and her decision, I can't even imagine what is going through her head, I pray for her everyday and wonder how she is doing and how the baby is doing. We met with the birth-dad and birth-mom on Father's day Sunday It was so special it was the first time being so close to the baby! It was very nerve wrecking, but it was very enjoyable and she really wanted to meet us, which i understand that she needs to know we are real people and not just pictures in a profile book, to get a feel for us and all, she texted our adoption specialist later that day and said she really likes us and is glad with her decision of picking us! that gave us a huge relief. So now we just have to be patient and pray and wait......I become more nervous the closer it gets wondering if this ending is going to be a happy one or not so happy? I also wonder and my heart hurts for her and the hurt she will go through, with me wanting a baby so bad I just couldn't imagine going through something like that, we did find out that the birth-mom and birth-dad have a little girl together as well so I know she knows how all of this goes and how she is going to feel, I have never experience anything like that so I just can't imagine......If she does choose to let him go and we become parents to him, I will strive all my life to give him the greatest life possible, everyday i will cherish him and know she gave us the greatest gift ever. Knowing we may never get pregnant has taken a toll and I just keep praying that we will be able to give him a sibling whether through adopting again or pregnancy. My mind is just everywhere anymore these days, good and bad, but I know I have the Lord and My husband the greatest man the Lord has ever given me right by my side through this journey called Life.

God Sent an ANGEL!

God just knows when you need an Angel!  We got ours a few weeks ago....... It was just a normal Sunday evening and we got a knock on our door from a man delivering a card to us from someone in his church who wants to be unknown so they now have the name ANGEL! It was just what i needed i was a little down and trying to not be worried about our adoption and raising of the money and all! the card had the just the right words for just this right moment....... it said...

God Cares about every detail of your life...

He collects every tear in a bottle.
                                                                 (Psalm 56:8)

He numbers every hair on your head.
(Luke 12:7)

He know every hurt in your heart.
                                                                   (Psalm 34:18)

The Lord knows all you are going through. He love you, He cares for you, and he will make sure not one detail is overlooked in your life.      Thinking of you and praying too!

Wow those words, they still mean so much to me, and still get me all choked up.
It was one of those Angel moments and I praise God for that moment!

just a lil note to that ANGEL, if for some reason they ever read this, We thank you so so much! you wrote in you card that you hoped your gift could help bring the little blessing home sooner and we are now down to 4 weeks till her due date we could never thank you enough for your gift and kind and encouraging words, as tears stream down my face I want you to know that I hope for one day to be an angel to someone as you were to me! thank you once again and God bless you.
